A special day!

Today, 11 April, 2010 we welcomed 24 people into membership. It is the first time we have brought people into membership. A third of these have got saved among us. And we are filled with great joy, for several reasons.

Firstly, we were planted with 23 adults and 22 children and youth. Our membership has doubled in the last 18 monthsand we praise God for that. We see our doubling as a deposit - a guarantee that God will do all the other things he has promised. And his promises to us are many.

Secondly, for the first time today we were 108 at our Sunday meeting. We celebrate and rejoice in that. For the first ime we have been over 100 on a Sunday. This for us also means that God is fulfilling what he said he would. We are so blessed that God by his mercy has chosen to honour and increase us. Praise God for he is always good!

We believe that God is going to build for himself a body of believers in Oldham, intimate with God and living in the manifest presence of God. And that same body will touch the world around it with the life and power of God - what a privilege, what a joy! Living from his presence... to the nations.
